Jordan Mallah is a native New Yorker who has realized professional success in the yoga community, both domestically and internationally, since 1996. As a Certified Anusara Yoga Instructor, his uplifting teaching style inspires and motivates his students to find true balance and make conscious choices.
Through Jordan’s revolutionary yoga classes, his students are challenged and empowered to reach their fullest potential, while maintaining playfulness and creativity. Using dynamic, self inquiry techniques, Jordan guides each student on an exploration of their deepest essence, leaving them poised to celebrate each day from a place of authenticity.
A leader in his field and one of New York’s premier yoga therapists, Jordan methodically applies postural alignment and therapeutic biomechanics to direct his students towards mental, physical and spiritual healing. His innovative, holistic approach to teaching incorporates life alignment coaching, which instills students with a balanced health and wellness sensibility.
Jordan’s myriad of life experiences range from working as a corporate consultant with the global management consulting firm Accenture, to volunteering with the Peace Corps in Peru, where he worked to curb the rate of malnutrition for indigenous Andean villagers. In addition, Jordan served as the Global Productions Manager for Anusara and mentored extensively with John Friend. His other primary teachers are Dr. Douglas Brooks, Sianna Sherman, and Todd Norian. Through all of his endeavors, Jordan has maintained his unwavering commitment to delivering the highest level of service.
Jordan’s passion for activism is recognized worldwide. He has been a vehicle for social change, leading retreats that bring yoga, health services, education, and development to underserved communities locally and globally, including villages in Peru, Rwanda, and Kenya. His retreat participants experience radical transformation as they work to break cycles of poverty and help communities achieve sustainable and productive futures.
