Do you desire a profound connection to community, beauty, and nature while participating in an unforgettable service and yoga experience?

If so, then please join myself and Frank Andolino , Executive Director and Co-Founder of Kageno Worldwide, as we work with and practice yoga alongside indigenous villagers, connecting our mind, body, and spirit with the people of this magical African land.

To journey to Rwanda is to journey into the depths of the heart!

This once in a lifetime service and yoga retreat will inspire and uplift you, expand your worldview, and renew and restore the land, community, and the self.

In addition, come face to face with a family of mountain Gorillas, of which there are only 300 hundred on the planet, trek deep through the bush to find chimpanzees, see rare birds, orchids, and monkeys around every corner, and much more.

Banda Village, Rwanda, is the ideal backdrop for our expedition into service and sanctity, so if you are ready to challenge yourself, live life to the fullest, make a difference, and create ever-lasting memories that will forever be etched into the fabric of your being, then this is the journey for you!

Service Project in La Grama, Cajamarca:December 20-27. Journey with Zhenja and Jordan to the remote, indigenous Andean village of La Grama, the town where Jordan lived for three years as a Peace Corps volunteer. During this first week, we will put our yoga into action by co-creating an organic community garden at the local health post. This garden will help feed the community and become a center for learning about nutrition and organic farming. We’ll have time to share stories with our hosts in the community, visit the regional market, practice yoga daily, and experience Andean village life from the inside out. The festivities of Christmas in the village will be heightened by the inauguration of the new garden and the joy of cross-cultural exchange. Our last night in the region will be spent at the Laguna Seca spa, where we can rejuvenate in the healing waters of geothermal hot springs.Retreat Center

Yoga Retreat in Cusco:December 27 – January 3. For the second week, we’ll travel to the Sacred Valley in southernPeru for an intensive yoga retreat at the Hanaq Pacha Retreat Center just outside of Cusco. During our stay, we will have two daily yoga practices plus ample free time to explore Cusco and meet the children at the Casa de Milagros, a local orphanage sponsored by Hanaq Pacha. On New Year’s Eve, we’ll hike part of the Inca Trail to Aguas Calientes and spend the night there to see the sun rise over Machu Picchu, one of the most sacred sites in the world. We have the great fortune of being guided in this part of the adventure by a local shaman who is intimately connected to the land. For more information, please contact Zhenja La Rosa at zhenjalarosa@gmail.com or visit www.steadfastfreedomyoga.com
